Soliflore Desvres pottery

This earthenware soliflore is an authentic model produced by the Desvres pottery, signed at the base by the ceramist Gabriel Foumaintraux. The trademark visible on the reverse (the small stylised bottle or apothecary pot) historically recalls the symbol of Delft, but corresponds here to a traditional French production from Desvres. It measures 11 cm in height, features a bright floral decoration hand-painted, characteristic of regional creations inspired by the motifs of "Old Rouen." The diameter of the base is 5 cm.
