Egg chair by Arne Jacobsen

Fritz Hansen has passionately produced the Egg chair by designer Arne Jacobsen since 1958. He created this chair, also known as the Egg Chair, for the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen using high-quality fabric materials. The technique and the robustness of the plastic seat shell covered in foam ensure unparalleled comfort. At the time, this seat was completely innovative. Even today, this incredible shape, combining the backrest, armrests, and seat in one piece, remains an extraordinary object. This chair is a 1999 edition, fully reupholstered to the highest standards in 2022 by the renowned Atelier Siégeair with a Kvadrat mélange 3 fabric in yellow and grey. It comes with its footrest, which was also reupholstered at the same time as the chair.
