Important and magnificent Persepolis lamp by Fase. Spain, 1973. A very rare piece from this famous and fabulous manufacturer. Curved structure in chrome metal supporting two large opaline white glass spheres. Its long arm is articulated in two places, allowing it to be easily fixed in several positions, thus offering multiple possibilities. The power plug is stamped with the manufacturer's mark. Sculptural and rare, it occupies its space and attracts attention. Excellent condition. However, it may show some signs of age, nothing to report. Height up to 83 cm. Width up to 97 cm. Depth 28 cm. FASE: In 1964, Industrias FASE (Fabriciones Seriadas) was founded in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid. Led by two partners, the company illustrated the ability of the Spanish industry to transcend borders through its design. Almost unwittingly, it created an iconic model of modern furniture: the Fase lamp. The company began with Pedro Martín, a turner and lamp seller at flea markets, and Luis Pérez de la Oliva, a designer by profession. From the outset, lamps were at the heart of Industrias FASE's activity, with design and manufacturing taking place in Spain. Strongly influenced by Italian and Bauhaus styles, Fase's pieces gained popularity due to their extremely modern design for the time. In addition to lamps, Fase also had a collection of everyday objects such as ashtrays, wastepaper baskets, and coat racks. Its objects gained international fame in France, Japan, and the United States. The big screen also enhanced the value of its lamps, which appeared in films such as Indiana Jones, Bohemian Rhapsody, Made Man, and Casa de papel.
