Art deco bonbonniere, orange glass, Poland, 1930s

A bonbonniere from the 1930s, produced in Poland by the Józefina Glassworks, made of thick, faceted glass in a saturated amber-orange shade. The dynamically cut, geometric walls alternate with smooth surfaces, creating a distinct rhythm of light and shadow typical of the art deco style. The lid is complemented by a strong, architectural handle with sharp edges, referring to the aesthetics of the era.
