Vintage Italian Murano lamp – Space age - Design

Italian lamp with a Murano glass globe, probably dating from the late 1960s or early 1970s. The diffuser features a blown white opaline glass globe, topped with a transparent part in amber hues, crafted in relief in an elegant composition reminiscent of petals. The entire piece is mounted on a square metallic base with a golden finish, characterised by geometric and understated lines. A ring with a small tightening screw holds the diffuser in place and allows for easy removal. Its aesthetic fully evokes the modernist Italian lighting of the period. An ideal piece for retro, mid-century, or Hollywood Regency decor, or in a modern and contemporary interior. Dimensions: Total height: 22 cm. Globe: approximately 18 cm in width. Base: 16 × 16 cm. Globe in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. The support shows some minor imperfections in the gilding, visible in the photos and consistent with the age of the piece.
