Mid-century modern Temde sisal desk lamp, Germany / Switzerland 1960s

This desk lamp is the quintessential mid-century modern design: a conical sisal shade, an elegantly shaped brass arm and round wooden base with a white push button switch. Made by the German-Swiss manufacturer Temde and dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s, this lamp is still in great condition—a testament to the craftsmanship and quality materials used in its making. The lamp is designed for an E27 bulb and emits a warm and comforting light through its sisal shade.
