Superb pair of handcrafted chairs, brought back from Bali in the late 1990s. Made from solid wood and natural fibres, these pieces showcase traditional Indonesian craftsmanship, with all work done by hand. Their slender silhouette and very high back give them a strong sculptural presence. The natural fibres, intentionally left free, add a unique organic character and great visual poetry. These chairs transcend their primary function to become true decorative objects, ideal in a contemporary interior, whether Wabi-sabi or bohemian, refined.
