This is an old teapot representing a panda. In sandstone. Made in japan. Dimensions: height: 17.5 cm, width from spout to handle: 17 cm, depth: 13 cm. Weight: 600g. This teapot was made by hand. The color is not uniform, especially at the head, handle and spout (see photos). The handle has shades of blue. This is normal and demonstrates craftsmanship. The teapot is in good vintage condition. Note scratches on the handle (see photo) the lid has a precise direction and must be positioned exactly like the last photo on the notch without trying to turn. This pretty object is rare and unusual. It will appeal to teapot collectors. Sold as is.
