This set of 2 miniature bowls was designed by Gunnar Borg for the Swedish manufacturer Gunnars Keramik Höganäs in the 1960s. Handcrafted by the master, with the utmost care and attention to detail. Bowls dyed in an irregular shade of sandy brown and green. Signed with the author's signature and the manufacturer's mark. Gunnar Borg (1926 - 2007) remains one of the leading representatives of 20th-century Scandinavian ceramic design. Known for his handmade miniature ceramic and stoneware objects, primarily vases. He also created lamp bases, bowls, decorative dishes, and ashtrays. He began his career at the age of 14 at Andersson & Johansson in Höganäs. From 1940, he worked there for 28 years. The creativity and craftsmanship of the artist are evident in every object. In 1968, Borg founded his own workshop, where he operated until his death. Gunnars Keramik Höganäs was founded in 1968 by Gunnar Borg, one of the leading representatives of 20th-century Scandinavian ceramic design. After leaving Andersson & Johansson, he continued to produce miniature vases, lamp bases, candlesticks, and ashtrays himself. He used white stoneware clay brought from the Netherlands. Borg worked in his workshop until his death in 2007. This set is in its original condition. The colours of the products shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual ones.
