Rare rocking chair Thonet, model no. 7500, made of bent wood with a cane seat. Designed by August Thonet, this chair was originally produced without armrests but was updated in 1876 to include them. Only 8, 000 copies were made, making it a highly sought-after collector's item, present in museums such as MoMA. This particular example, made around 1880 by Gebrüder Thonet in Vienna, Austria, features a turned and bent beech structure, an adjustable backrest, and a woven cane seat and backrest.
