Set of 3 OZOO 600 chairs by Marc Berthier for Roche Bobois, 1970

Set of three Ozoo 600 chairs designed in 1967 by Marc Berthier. The Ozoo series was manufactured by Dan and distributed by Roche Bobois (France) and Ingo Maurer (Germany). These Space Age-style chairs are made from a single piece of fiberglass-reinforced polyester. It was a bold design at the time, with softened corners and a geometric shape. The chairs show signs of wear typical of their age, mainly in the form of (light) scratches. They are also in beautiful vintage condition, with no visible cracks. They are also suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. These practical and ergonomic chairs are an iconic piece of design history! Marc Berthier has won several international awards, including the Grand Prix National de Création Industrielle, the Compasso d'Oro, the Medal of Art and Industry, and the New York Accent Design Award. Several of his works have been exhibited in numerous museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
