Small gilded frame containing a dreaded joseph stone botanical plank, famous painter known for his watercolours of flowers and especially roses. This one represents a sparkling rose with double flowers. The frame window has a shrapnel inside on the right side at the bottom (see photo). And the frame is slightly spread at two corners (see photo). Otherwise good condition. Width 17.5 cm, height 23.5 cm.
