This botanical lithograph by Redouté is a delicate reproduction, stemming from the work of Pierre-Joseph Redouté, a famous botanical painter of the 19th century, also known as a botanical plate. It features: Rosa centifolia foliacea - Cabbage rose, foliaceous. The lithograph was produced by the printer Rémond, based on a work by P.J. Redouté. It is presented in a patinated gold frame, enhanced with a fine grey-green border, in very good condition. The mount, adorned with yellowed paper, adds to the charm of a beautiful vintage piece and particularly highlights the artwork. The whole is in very good condition, (with only a few discreet signs of use).
