Vintage Danish pendant lamp Turbo by Louis Weisdorf, Lyfa, 1965

The Turbo lamp was designed by Louis Weisdorf in 1965. It is characterised by a simple shape but a complex construction. It combines lightness and robustness, creating a sculptural and beautiful whole. The outer basket of the lamp consists of 12 identical panels that together form a flower. Weisdorf was inspired by a Japanese rice paper lamp. This is an original edition made by Lyfa. Very rare on the second-hand market. Dimensions: diameter 36 cm. Height 36 cm. The lamp is in very good condition and bears the manufacturer's signature. The lamp has been carefully cleaned, and the cable has been replaced with a new, braided one. A new metal ceiling rose is included. The lamps are shipped from Denmark.
