A pair of Gerrit Thomas Rietveld Hopmi chairs

Both chairs are in very good condition, with minimal signs of use. Both the wood and metal are in excellent condition. The HOPMI chair, designed by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld in 1932, originally only two copies made. Its unique user-assembly design, featuring special torpedo nuts patented by HOPMI, allows for easy construction. In 2013, a limited edition of 400 chairs was produced, 150 pieces in series 1 and 250 pieces in series 2, based on the original drawings and with permission from the Rietveld heirs.
