Vintage 1961 Dietrich Reimer Berlin globe - 45 cm

Very large world map made of cardboard, wood, and chrome-plated metal by Dietrich Reimer (Andrews & Steiner), manufactured in Germany (written in German), circa 1960, in good condition. Here is a magnificent vintage piece, the jumbo globe. The paper map is superb, a light green tone, with vibrant and beautiful colors. It has some minor imperfections here and there and displays a patina of age. The beautiful wood and chrome base is in good condition, although the chrome is slightly faded—a rather charming detail.
