Table AT 327 Hans Wegner original edition by Andreas Tuck

This is the original edition of this table created in 1962 by Hans Wegner and made (branded with a hot iron) by Andreas Tuck. By using vertical wooden uprights to form the belt under the tabletop, Wegner manages to give the impression that the tabletop is floating above the lower structure (which is recessed under the table to enhance this effect). This design choice contributes to the overall lightness of the table, while its apparent construction gives it an architectural presence. In excellent condition, a true rarity.
