Canapé corners by Mathieu Matégot - 1950s

A magnificent set of corner sofas designed by Mathieu Matégot in the 1950s. This consists of beautiful triangular tables made of perforated sheet metal. The set is in its original condition to preserve the history and nature of the product. It shows numerous signs of wear related to time, as visible in the provided photos. Matégot's work is very well documented. This table model can be found in the handwritten work of P. Favardin. The dedicated page is also available in the photo library.
