Brio children's chairs in light wood with blue lacquered seat and backrest

Two Retro Brio children's chairs in light wood with blue lacquered seat and backrest. Estimated 1980s. (sold back then at RABO.Dk, in Denmark) They are 40 cm high at the back, 32 cm wide, 34 cm deep and the seat height is 23 cm. These are truly a piece of solid craftsmanship and will last for many, many years to come. They naturally show signs of use and slight wear, but there are no defects or missing parts. BRIO is a Swedish toy manufacturer that has been in business since the 1880s, producing wooden toys, among other things. It is probably best known for its small wooden toy trains and tracks, which have been imitated by several other companies. It has also developed ‘children's’ furniture for nurseries, etc. The price is for the pair = both chairs. Packed securely and sent with insurance.
