Hollywood Regency style dining table "Glamour Seventies". Dining table for up to 12 people, in walnut burl with gold brass details, equipped with two extensions integrated into the central leg. Created by the house of Jean-Claude Mahey in the 1970s. Practical features: Easy to transport, suitable for standard doorways. Dismantles into two parts: tabletop and central leg containing the extensions. Condition: Good condition, with no missing parts or scratches. Open with 2 extensions: H 74 × W 227 × D 136 cm. Biography: Jean-Claude Mahey (1944 - ) comes from a family of decorative painters. JCM graduated from the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués in Paris in 1966. Ten years later, he founded his contemporary furniture design company. In close collaboration with his wife, Betty Mahey, they presented numerous models that were distributed in France and around the world. Using elegant materials such as lacquer, precious metals, rich woods, and marble, Mahey's creations are made in their own workshop. In 1992, they opened their showroom in central Paris and gradually integrated their children Cecilia and Maxence. His work is often compared to or attributed to Willy Rizzo (Mario Sabot edition) or Romeo Rega.
