Postmodern floor lamp by the Italian manufacturer Lucitalia from the 1980s. This striking design combines a technical language with traditional details. The delicate tripod consists of three individual elements, visibly screwed together with the pole. The foot elements feature wrought iron ornamentation. At the top of the long pole is the light fixture head. The head is in two parts. It includes a crescent-shaped reflector and a handle that serves as a counterweight. The reflector is interrupted by two square openings fitted with opal glass panels. The head is mounted rotatably and assembled asymmetrically so that the reflector can be moved laterally next to the pole. Depending on the position of the reflector, the floor lamp can be used as wall or ceiling lighting. The openings in the screen project a soft light in the opposite direction. The light can be adjusted via a dimmer.
