Superb vintage barbotine planter in crackled earthenware from the 1900s (Art Nouveau period), made by the famous Gustave De Bruyn factory in Fives-Lille. Magnificent floral relief decoration (clusters of wisteria), featuring a cream background with a beautiful network of cracks and a base in a bright gradient of emerald green / duck blue. Manufacturer: Gustave De Bruyn (Fives-Lille) Model: No. 4441 (marked in relief) Period: 1900s (Art Nouveau) Dimensions: Length 30 cm | Maximum width 14 cm | Height 17 cm | Neck 22 × 14 cm. Stamp: Intertwined marine anchor and the letters "DB" under the base. Condition: Good overall condition for a vintage barbotine over 100 years old. Note two very small chips on the upper inner rim and a small nick on one handle (see photos). These defects remain very discreet and are hardly noticeable once the object is placed.
