Table lamp with chrome tubes by VM Designer, Italy, 1970s.

This exceptional table lamp by VM Designer embodies the bold and futuristic spirit of Italian design from the 1970s. Five vertically arranged chrome tubes of graduated heights rise from a mirrored square base, each concealing a bulb that emits a soft, flickering light — evoking the romanticism of candlelight through a decidedly modernist lens. The polished chrome finish creates dynamic reflections, transforming the lamp into a luminous sculpture that changes with its surroundings. A rare and highly sought-after piece for enthusiasts of Mid-Century Modern and Space Age design.
