Stoneware pitcher signed Suzanne Dauliach – Incised Thistle Floral Decoration

Glazed stoneware pitcher signed by Suzanne Dauliach, a French ceramist active in the 70s-80s. This unique piece is charming with its elongated shape on a pedestal and its hand-incised floral decoration, reminiscent of a stylized thistle or an artichoke flower. The speckled glaze, ranging between sandy beige and burnt ochre, creates a vibrant contrast with the bluish tones of the floral motif. The orange glazed interior enhances the warm intensity of the whole. Made in France in the late 1970s or early 1980s, this pitcher embodies the free and textured spirit of studio ceramics from that era. It can be used as a vase, carafe, or simply as a strong decorative piece. Incised signature under the base (typical of Dauliach). Dimensions: H19 cm X Ø13.5 cm. Weight: 890 g. Very good condition, no chips or cracks.
