Large Spanish majolica jug Domingo Punter 1952

Superb large Spanish ceramic jug, glazed majolica, signed Punter (Domingo) under the base and dated, vintage 1952. This beautiful handcrafted piece features an elegant traditional shape with two spouts and a wide ring handle, entirely hand-decorated with a rich blue design on a cream background depicting large stylised birds surrounded by floral scrolls. The brushwork and shades of blue are exquisite.
