Small ceramic jug Gouda Holland

Charming small ceramic jug from Gouda, Netherlands, with a beautiful hand-painted polychrome decoration. The body features a particularly rich stylised decoration in deep blue, orange, green, ochre, and white, highlighted with geometric patterns and scrolls. The handle and base are glazed in a dark shade. Underneath the base, several handwritten marks are present: "Collier", "Holland", no. 1146, as well as workshop marks/monograms. A lovely piece of decorative Dutch ceramics, characteristic of Gouda's productions and the Art Deco aesthetic from the 1930s.
