Bistro chair canned n°10 1/2 by lebrun (france) ca 1890, cherry shade

Chair n ° 10 1/2, perfect cannage, rare chair in half of lebrun (france), a very refined work, seat in perfect condition. (rrr 10) the finesse of its feet shows us the solidity of the slow-growing beech wood, west slope of the vosges, denser than that growing in regions with a continental climate where the summer season is warmer. It was manufactured between 1880 and 1905 in the chair "veuve lebrun" in saint loup sur semouse (haute-saône) which was one of the most important french chairry after baumann. Its location near the saône, a waterway, allowed it to supply lower burgundy and lyon. A unique front foot screwing system, different from that of kohn, undoubtedly gives us the origin.
