Antique farmhouse table with a butcher's block style base in solid oak. We love the unique look of this table, with its fluted and socketed legs, as well as its very thick top. This table is very old, probably from the late 19th century or early 1900s. The wood, solid oak, is therefore very robust, and typical of oak from that period, with a relatively dark and refined shade. The base has been deliberately preserved with its patina, as it is very beautiful and gives it a certain charm. The top, meanwhile, has been entirely sanded, lightly stained, and then protected with a transparent matte varnish. It is very thick, and gives the whole piece a certain quality. The grain is very beautiful. The legs have little metal tips, giving it a more airy appearance.
