Blue pressed-moulded glass basket dish Meisenthal? Ashtray 1920

This charming antique bowl is made of pressed moulded glass. In blue moulded glass, it is a creation from the 1920s, probably from the glassworks of Meisenthal or Vallerysthal. Shaped like a basket, it is adorned with a moulded laurel leaf design, and the handles are twisted. You can place chocolates, biscuits, or sweets in it; it can also serve as a ring holder for your jewellery or as a catch-all in an entrance. In generally good condition, I note some signs of use. This bowl measures approximately 15 X 11 cm in height.
