Showcase or Shop Library in Mahogany, Early 19th Century

Charming small mahogany display cabinet or bookshelf from the early 19th century, circa 1820. Small model with cut corners, which is quite rare. It was most likely used in a shop as a display case during the 19th century. It has 3 drawers at the top, of which 2 are false drawers. An original model in terms of shape and size. We have chosen to leave the shelf in its original condition (it could be sanded if desired). Very beautiful patina and in superb condition.
