Small painted blue folk furniture – country spirit

Small wooden piece of furniture painted in a lovely patinated blue, hand-decorated with floral patterns and birds around a central heart. A naive and charming work, typical of folk or country-inspired furniture. It opens with two mesh doors revealing an interior shelf, as well as a drawer at the top. An ideal size for a side table, small sideboard, kitchen storage, or bathroom furniture. Old paint with a beautiful patina, giving a lot of character to the whole piece. Handcrafted, probably mid-20th century. Please note: simple wood (not noble), visible signs of use, small paint losses, and a re-glued edge. Dimensions: H 76 X W 60 X D 27 cm.
