Aldo van de Nieuwelaar light object for Nila Lights, Netherlands 1980

A unique light object designed by Aldo van de Nieuwelaar, manufactured by Nila Lights in the Netherlands in the 1980s. Made of white perspex with a tall central light source, this truly unique lamp is both a light source and art object that would make a fantastic eye-catcher in any decor! When lit, a nice colour palette emits through the plexiglass frame. Designed as a statement piece, with its large size and unique approach to lighting. It was made in a very limited production, making this an especially rare find! It still has the original manufacturer’s label and comes with the original transformer, all shown in photos. The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
