Pair of polychrome marble bookends

Elegant pair of Art Deco bookends made of polychrome marbles. A very beautiful decorative piece, both useful, geometric, and elegant, ideal for dressing a library, shelf, or desk. They consist of a superb assembly of three varieties of marble: a veined black marble base, a triangular rising structure in white Carrara marble, and a central insert in the shape of a half-moon in burgundy red marble, adding a touch of warm and contrasting colour.
