Vintage 1950s Jumo GS1 green desk lamp - 55 cm

Vintage Jumo GS1 factory-style desk lamp in viride green, circa 1950, in good condition. It is complete, though the paint is chipped, particularly on the base (which is slightly warped). There are also some old paint splatters on the shade, while the chrome is gleaming. This magnificent lamp, often mistakenly attributed to Charlotte Perriand or Eileen Gray, has a shabby chic feel. It can be seen in the last photo in a shot from the 1957 film "La Parisienne" starring Brigitte Bardot. The push-button switch on the base is new. It uses a bayonet bulb (not included). It measures 55cm high, the base diameter is 19cm, the shade diameter is 17cm high, and it is 30cm deep.
