Jumo 600 Lamp - 1st version. 1st edition. The oldest version, the hardest to find. Circa 1940-1945. Created by the Société Nouvelle des Etablissements Jumo. "JUMO" comes from the contraction of the first two letters of the three creators. Their lamps were often found in offices or workshops, so we can classify this vintage lamp in the industrial decoration, industrial heritage. In 33 years, they produced more than 100 models. Very beautiful design for this lamp, a very refined, minimalist aesthetic, but its false simplicity hides the reflection and work of the designers. This antique light fixture has a remarkable design, with a true aesthetic research, a mixture of straight lines and curves combined with a shiny and matte chrome. Here the "ball" reflector is completely adjustable. The base is weighted with cast iron with an integrated switch. The lamp works perfectly. This is the oldest version of the Jumo 600, therefore rarer. Some traces of use and wear which are normal for a truly old or vintage lamp which remain rather discreet.
