A unique piece of Tunisian craftsmanship steeped in history and poetry. Let yourself be enchanted by the magic of this superb glazed clay table lamp, entirely chiselled and hand-painted in Tunisia. With its delicate patterns and sunny colours (white, intense saffron yellow, and fine touches of blue), it brings a warm, ethnic, and decidedly bohemian atmosphere to your interior. Once lit, its perforated dome creates a fairy-tale spectacle by projecting beautiful textured shadows and light patterns on your walls. It is ideal as a living room night light, ambient lamp, or bedside lamp. The little story of this object: This lamp has a precious family history. It was brought back directly from Tunisia in the early 2000s by my father, of Tunisian origin, who loved to return regularly to his homeland. It was part of his daily life for a long time before his departure in 2009. It is an authentic piece, acquired on-site. It is quite likely that my father, very resourceful, installed and adapted the electrical system on this handcrafted pottery himself to give it its function as a lamp. A unique piece with a true soul. Characteristics: Material: Authentic glazed clay/terracotta. Origin: Tunisia (signed and monogrammed under the base) Era: 2000s. Dimensions: Height: 30 cm | Width at the widest point: 11 cm. Weight: Less than 730 g. Condition: Very good general vintage condition. The glaze and painted decorations are beautifully preserved. The upper dome is removable for easy bulb replacement. The electrical system with a switch on the cable has been tested and works perfectly (sold without a bulb).
