Vintage baluster vase in glazed ceramic

Baluster vase in handmade ceramic from the 1960s-1970s. This piece is captivating with its sublime reactive glazing playing on shades of celadon green, verdigris, and rust-brown splashes, creating beautiful effects of texture and shine. The raw red terracotta left unglazed on the underside of the base adds a very successful authentic and organic touch. Its appearance with brutalist and Wabi-Sabi accents makes it a characterful decorative object. It will ideally find its place on a teak sideboard, a shelf, or as a centrepiece, either alone or paired with other ceramics. In very good vintage condition, with no major chips or cracks to report.
