Barcelona-style chaise longue — an exceptional sculptural piece.

A playful reinterpretation of the famous Barcelona chair — but without the weight of the original. This piece started as an anonymous Barcelona-style frame and has been completely reworked in my workshop. Instead of restoring it to a "perfect copy," it has been given a new identity: softer, more tactile, and slightly rebellious. Fully upholstered in rich, textured vegan leather (skai). Original chrome steel frame, cleaned and preserved. The cushions are new and surprisingly comfortable. The result lies somewhere between design classic and contemporary intervention. It retains the architectural clarity of the original form but replaces the strictness of leather with humour and tactility. This is not a piece by Mies van der Rohe / Knoll — and that is intentional. It is a reinterpretation, not a replica. Condition. Very good condition. The frame shows slight wear appropriate to its age. The upholstery is new.
