Salon table in marquetry – Louis XV style, 20th century

Oval-shaped gueridon resting on four curved legs, connected by a scalloped apron. The top is decorated with a centred floral marquetry, made of contrasting veneer woods, arranged in geometric friezes. The whole is highlighted by a pierced and studded brass gallery. The legs are adorned with gilt bronze ornaments featuring a floral design, ending in hooves. The piece is made of solid wood and veneer, likely walnut and fruitwoods, with decorative inlays.
