This Louis XV style coffee table captivates with the elegance of its marquetry top, adorned with a delicate floral design combining light and stained woods, harmoniously arranged on a rosewood veneer background. The oval-shaped top, highlighted by a wide gallery, affirms the finesse of its design and the quality of its execution. The curved and moulded apron is decorated with bronze fittings on all four sides, while the cabriole legs lend the whole piece a graceful silhouette typical of Louis XV. Each leg is enhanced with gilded bronze foliage drops, complemented by a fitting at the foot, adding an extra touch of preciousness and highlighting the attention to detail. A decorative as well as functional piece, this coffee table embodies the charm and craftsmanship of 18th-century inspired furniture, where the virtuosity of the marquetry artisans and the delicacy of the bronzes come together to create a table of distinction.
