Old Flore sauceboat in opaque faience Sarreguemines Utschneider

This beautiful antique sauceboat is made of opaque faience from Sarreguemines. Belonging to the elegant "Flore" service from Sarreguemines, this sauceboat features a delicate decoration of blue flower bouquets. These patterns are different on each piece in the series. The rim is adorned with a frieze. On the back, there is the mark "Opaque Utschneider" "X" and "2S". Utschneider was the director of the factory from 1800, and this mark was used between 1868 and 1910. In generally good condition, I note signs of use, a hairline crack, and small chips underneath. It measures 23 cm X 11.5 cm X 14 cm.
