Superb cracked glass vase Karcagi Fátyolüveg, in a delicate turquoise blue-green hue. Beautiful generously rounded shape, with a short flared neck and rolled rim, and a magnificent network of cracks giving the glass that characteristic "veil" appearance of the production from Karcag-Berekfürdő, Hungary. Unsigned vase visible in the photographs; attribution based on the shape, coloration, and especially the cracked glass technique. This vase is in nearly perfect condition, with just a small brown stain on the rim that is embedded in the glass, but this does not affect its quality, and it has no cracks or chips. A particularly decorative piece, typical of Hungarian glassware from the mid-20th century, that will fit perfectly in a chic vintage, Mid-Century, or European glassware collection. Height 20 cm.
