Waste paper basket made of trapezoidal wooden plates in mahogany-tinted beech connected by copper strips. France, circa 1930, often attributed to jacques-emile ruhlmann, bears a label under its base marked "dupré & cie 141, boulevard du faubourg saint honoré paris" (artists' supply store between 1917 and 1964). Fairly good condition: a few scratches on the wood, small loss on one of the wooden pads, traces of oxidation on the copper.
