Classic carpet from the 1960s from the city of keshan which is located on the old silk road (between isfahan and tehran). High-quality, patterned pile with animal motifs in brown, beige, blue, cream and red tones. Quality features: Keshan carpet. Hand-knotted. Approx. 160, 000 nodes per m2. All of our carpets are cleaned in a professional carpet laundry. The first step in cleaning is to tap the carpet thoroughly to remove dust and any mites. The subsequent prewash with a ph-neutral soap removes stains. For the main wash, the carpet is thoroughly washed by hand – a special soap protects the fibers and preserves the natural wool fat of the carpet. The first dewatering takes place by means of mechanical pressing and spinning, to let the carpets then dry in a constant air circulation.
