Vintage plated plate on leaf-shaped legs, silver-plated, Germany, 1970s.

An original, silver-plated decorative platter from the second half of the 20th century. This piece perfectly fits the luxurious mid-century modern and retro styles of the Polish People's Republic. Its asymmetrical, organic form, resembling a leaf or shell, is distinguished by its interesting texture – a combination of geometric embossing, striations, and fine hammering, which, combined with the silver plating, beautifully reflects light. The vessel rests on three integrated, stable legs. Technical and visual condition: Condition: Good vintage condition, visible in the attached photo (real photo). The metal structure is stable and rigid. The silver-plated surface shows a natural, darker patina, minor discoloration, and age-related dulling, confirming the item's authenticity and giving it a refined character. The platter has not been dry-cleaned or polished – it was left in its original condition. However, a new owner can easily restore its high shine using silver and plate cleaning products.
