Magnificent painting dating from 1939 signed by jules merle, a well-referenced artist, representing a view of the snow-capped roofs of the bell of notre dame des champs (paris, montparnasse). Made in oil on embedded canvas (original, key frame), very beautiful workmanship and state of conservation for this framed work (frame with some surface wear and a small shot, (everything is visible on photos, contractual). The last photo, (for illustration, I do not own the work), represents a view of snowy roofs made by the same artist (sold for more than 1300 euros). Chassis dimension: 42 / 52 cm, with frame: 57 / 67 cm.
