1940s french vintage brass and crystal 4 light chandelier.the chandelier is made up of a four sided cage forming with the 4 recurve arms forming part of the cage. Each arm leads to a flower shaped candle drip holder and the candle drips are white plastic. To the top of the chandelier is a cascade of 8 small arms with smaller arms sitting between the arms and cage. The chandelier hangs from a 7 link chain, bar and cup style ceiling fitter. The whole of the chandelier is adorned with beautiful crystals and glass flowers which create a mesmerizing display. The chandelier is working with French braided twin core wiring and takes 4 small screws in bulbs e14s.us and canadian buyers are able to find adapters to use this chandelier with their e12 bulbs (without the need to change the bulb holders). Please search on line 'e14 to e12' adapter. Some of the braid on the wire is fraying but the wiring is intact. The brass is in good solid condition with a deep age related patina the crystals are complete with no major chips or cracks some may have minor nibbles. The candle drips do have age related marks and some wear. We take great care in wrapping our crystal chandeliers, but on occasion some of the crystals may work loose and its down to you to rehang them which is usually a simple process.
