A sculptural boomerang-shaped writing desk designed by Peter Løvig Nielsen and produced by Løvig in Denmark during the 1960s. Crafted in teak, the desk features a distinctive asymmetrical boomerang-shaped top with softly rounded edges and a beautifully figured grain. Slender tapered legs and curved stretchers underneath emphasize the light and sculptural character of the design. Three drawers with sculpted teak handles provide practical storage, including a lockable upper drawer with its original key. The fully finished reverse incorporates an open bookshelf and additional storage compartments, allowing the desk to be placed freely within a room. The organic form, refined woodwork and integration of storage reflect Peter Løvig Nielsen’s functional approach to Danish modern design.
