Mirror with blackened wood and embossed gold metal in the Louis XIV style,

Rectangular mirror with a blackened wood frame, adorned with repoussé metal plates and gilded decoration of scrolls, foliage, and flowers. The central mirror is surrounded by reflective bands and moulded strips with a floral design. The pierced pediment features a flower basket flanked by two facing winged chimeras among scrolls. The spandrels are decorated with repoussé metal foliage and floral elements. The back is painted black wood with reinforcing crossbars. Overall good condition, with wear and signs of use.
