Saxony porcelain set (Germany) sold by the Parisian department store Au Marché de Bercy towards the end of the 19th century or the beginning of the 20th century. This fine display tableware or "collector's cup" was purchased in Germany and then sold as a prestige item (in the "New Arrivals" category) at the Au Marché de Bercy department store in Paris. The lot includes 10 cups (h 7cm, diam 6cm), 10 saucers (diam 13cm), and a covered sugar bowl (h 13cm). Delicate floral pattern with very beautiful period, rococo revival blue and gold scalloped borders. Very slight signs of use, no chips or cracks. Careful shipping.
